Task
In iphoto look in 'show extended photo info' to find the tech spec for your images.
In this case shutter speed 1/15 aperture f.22. It was then adjusted to Black and white, slightly cropped and straightened.
Get into the habit of looking at this info, then, when you come to use a Film SLR camera you will have a better idea of how to set it manually.
1. Take a photograph of a manmade object in black and white.
Take it from a variety of angles and using a variety of aperture settings.
Think about COMPOSITION & CONTRAST.
2. Find an image that an existing photographer has taken of a man made object that shows a good example of contrast in black and white.
3. Upload both examples to your blog and be prepared to discuss them next lesson.
